Successful first test of GeckoTech’s “vAC” building access control system: Working with its our off-shore programmers, GeckoTech has successfully completed first round testing of its long awaited Access Control software. This new software system will allow GeckoTech to offer building access control solutions without being tied to a specific vendor/technology. GeckoTech is hoping for the first deployment of this system in early 2010.
GeckoTech signs first US Point of Sale client: GeckoTech has inked a deal to provide 4 point of sale terminals to GrandBar and Muskegon Bar in Grand Rapids, MI. This comes after successful deployments to the owners Costa Rican restaurants. Nelson’s team expects to have these new POS terminals online by the end of May. This is GeckoTech’s first step in opening up the US Point of Sale market.

Villa Montana back on track: GeckoTech is pleased to announce that the Villa Montana project, which had been postponed due to unforeseen issues, has recently communicated that the project is back on track. GeckoTech hopes to begin deployment of the Voice, Data and Video systems sometime in May of 2009.
Bahia Encantada deploys JacoPOS: Chris Petrick, owner of Jaco’s Bohio Grill and 2 year loyal customer of GeckoTech has contracted with GeckoTech to deploy a single Terminal JacoPOS system to the Bahia Encantada pool bar. Andreas Woitzick, JacoPOS Product manager has configured and deployed the single terminal system with ease. Good Luck BE Pool Bar!!
Bamboosa opens doors with JacoPOS: Bamboosa, Hermosas newest restaurant, has had its “kick off” night in early February. Danny Clark, 7 yr customer of GeckoTech has purchased a 2 terminal sytem to help support his operations. JacoPOS will help servers provide quaility service and products to customers, while helping Dan to track revenue and costs. We will be by soon enough for some fresh sushi!!
Sad Farewell: It is with sad eyes that GeckoTech says farewell to one of its star techs. Andres Castellano and his family had to return to the United States in mid December. You will be missed. Our doors are always open, and we are hopeful you will be able to return to the GeckoTech family soon.
